A man should not leave this earth with unfinished business. He should live each day as if it was a pre-flight check. He should ask each morning, am I prepared to lift-off? Diane Frolov and Andrew Schneider

This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Harry John McCauley who was born in United States on March 8, 1943 and passed away on March 11, 2007. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes I watched you, and saw you pass away. Although I loved you dearly, I could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke my heart to prove to me, He only takes the BEST!

We love you so much pop-pop!!

Why did they have to take you so early from us?!

Did they know that we weren't done with you down here?!

Did they know that you were a BIG part of our lives?!

Did they know that we would miss you?!

We may never know but from all of us down here, we want you to know that you are missed EVERYday and we will miss you everyday from here until we meet again and we will NEVER stop thinking of you.

"If tears could build a stairway,

and memories a lane,

I would walk right up to Heaven

and bring you back again.

No farewell words were spoken.

No time to say "Goodbye."

You were gone before I knew it,

and only God knows why.

My heart still aches with sadness,

and secret tears still flow.

What it meant to love you-

No one will ever know.

But now I know you want me

to mourn for you no more;

To remember all the happy times,

life still has much in store.

Since you'll never be forgotten,

I pledge to you today-

A hollowed place within my heart

is where you'll always stay."

"A million words would not bring you back,

I know because I've tried,

neither would a million tears,

I know because I've cried."

"Like the Trees need the Earth

Like the Night needs the Moon

Like the Stars need the Sky

Like the Guitar needs the Tune

My world needs you"

I MISS YOU!!!!!

We will NEVER forget you!!!!!!

What Makes A Dad

God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagles's flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it....DAD

I remember sitting at the table...and Dad holding my hand...and telling me he loved me every morning at the beach.  Asking me to cut his hair...and then combing it over...and teasing about his wooley catapillar eyebrows...I am so glad it was me cutting his hair.  Of course there was the coffee.  If your going to the pot you know you mind as well bring him a fresh cup too.  (Boys if you were getting a beer...ya know "while your up"...)  Giving the triplets a dollar and promising that I would take them to the dollar store to spend it.  He knew I hated shopping more than frogs!!!  Dad I would never change a thing that we shared. I miss making you breakfast....egg and cheese on english muffin TWO of them please!  I miss the way you would say my name.  I just miss you alot Dad.  I love you.

Hey Pop-pop,

I was sitting here thinking of you and I had a memory that I will never ever forget!  I remember when you were in the hospital the first time and we were all down to visit you to make sure you were okay, you were on a lot of meds to make you drowsy so we did not get to talk to you that much or even see you awake for that matter.  But when Dad, Amy, and I were in the room with you, we were talking to you, and of course crying and hoping that everything would be okay, and when I was talking to you and you woke up a little and winked at me, I knew you would be okay!!  That memory will be with me forever and ever!!  I love you so much and miss you tons!!

Love,

Dana

Hey Pop-Pop,

I never got to say thank you and how happy I was that you were able to make it to our wedding.  You have NO IDEA how much that meant to me.  The dollar dance was especially important...it was the only time I cried during my wedding because it meant a great deal to have you there to share my special occasion with me!  It definitely wouldn't have been the same without you!  I wish you would be able to share the birth of your great grandson in 2 months also but I have to tell you...he will always know who you are through stories and pictures...we will never let him go without knowing you!!  We all love you and miss you so much...please keep a watch over all of us!!

Much love,

Dana

I can say that one of my best memories are of Dad taking me to school in the dodge ram...(it was faded pink with shrubs and car parts hanging out the sides)(yes he was an autobody man...hahah).  I tried all the time to get him to drop me off at the corner of the school.  But Dad loved me sooooo much he took me RIGHT to the front doors!!!  While he was bringing the truck to a stop he always added the "air brakes" sound.  Then never pulled off quietly....he would make sure he "honked" and waved....and laughed his butt off while I was embarrassed...and now...I am never more thankful that my Dad took me to school EVERYDAY my freshman and sophmore years.  Thanks Dad!!

I love you and I miss you and Thank you for being YOU

Let not your heart be troubled
Let not your soul be sad
Easter is a time of joy
When all hearts should be glad
Glad to know that Jesus Christ
Made it possible for men
To have their sins forgiven
And, like Him, to love again
So at this joyous season
May the wondrous Easter Story
Renew our faith so we may be
Partakers of His glory

May your skies forever be blue,
and may your stars forever shine true.
May the kiss of the sun protect you from cold,
and light up your way, with fingers of gold.

May the kiss of the moon lull you softly to sleep,
bringing lots of dreams, ever gentle and sweet.
And may your stars forever shine true,
casting silvery magic on all that you do!!

This is my blessing for YOU!!!
