Dear Dana

I think it is so beautiful that you made a site for your Grandfather. This is the most wonderful tribute you can do for him. Keeping his memory alive is the best way to show how much love, respect and morals he impacted on his family and loved ones. I'm sure he'd be so honored to know you've done this in his honor.

My Dad is the best person in the whole world to me. He has been so wonderful with me and my three sisters. I'm 50 years old and my sisters are 49, 46, and 43...he is 73 nearly 74 and today as in the pass he is the most attentive, loving, and caring Grandfather and Great Grandfather to his grandchildren and great grandchildren...they travel with him, they call him if they need rides, or instructions on how to get some where, sleep at his and my Mom's house when need be and he never complains or gets upset...he is perfect!!!! I'm boastful when it come to him...

Which leads me to you...I CAN ONLY HOPE MY NIECES AND NEPHEW'S WILL REMEMBER THEIR GRANDFATHER IN THE SAME MANNER AS YOU!!!!! Thank you for being a granddaughter to a man who truly must of been the apple of your eye...and for taking the time and doing what you've done and what your doing for him.

When you go on my daughter's site, and your on her candles, you can get some of the Angel names and if you light them a candle I know they will write back and help keep your Grandfather's candle burning forever!

Dear Dee Dee, No, you don't know me. I found your dad's site through the forums. here on Last Memories. There is a list for birthdays and angelversaries. I am also the moderator for "loss of parent" forum. (Dad passed 19 years ago) But, I'm more active on the "loss of child" forum. My daughter was killed last July. Your dad and my son have the same birthdate except 30 years later. As a person who is grieving, I know how much candles mean to the family and I try to let others know that they are not alone. Hey buddy, Just wanted to let you know we went to spend a couple days with mom on our vacation.We had a good time but it was not the same without you there.I cut the grass and cleaned out the gutters while I was waiting for Amy to get back from the store. You know me I cant sit still.I just wanted to let you know that Logan and I slept in your bed while we were there and we slept with the T.V on all night just like you use to. I miss you more than words can say and I think of you everyday. I keep a picture of you, Henry, and myself on the fridge and your grandchildren will never have to ask who ther pop-pop is, (they know). I still cry for you when I'm thinking of you, and they say grown men don't cry. Maybe thats because they did'nt have you for a DAD.

Hey Dad!!  I cut Mom's hair yesterday.  Remember when I would cut yours?  I would trim your wooley catapillar..Make you look so handsome.  I have your comb by my bed.  I touch it and think of you and our time together.  I don't want you to wonder if I think about you, or for you to feel lonely.  I come and see you alot.  I talk to you all the time and hope you can hear me.  I sleep in your bed and long to give you a hug.  I am trying to figure out why you had to leave so soon.  I know you are better off with the angels...but it still does not fix the emptiness I have for you in my heart.  You are my angel now and I need to remember that.  I can only hope I make you proud and smile when you watch down on me.  I love you Dad and cannot wait to see you again!!! 

Hey pop-pop...I just wanted to let you know that you are truly missed down here.  Even though you are probably having a blast up there picking on all the angels...we miss your sense of humor and your love down here...what can I say, we are greedy!  Please watch over everyone in the family and keep us safe.  I love you SO much (along with everyone else) and miss you EVERYDAY!!  Til we meet again....I send you ALL my love pop-pop!!
