I remember sitting at the table...and Dad holding my hand...and telling me he loved me every morning at the beach.  Asking me to cut his hair...and then combing it over...and teasing about his wooley catapillar eyebrows...I am so glad it was me cutting his hair.  Of course there was the coffee.  If your going to the pot you know you mind as well bring him a fresh cup too.  (Boys if you were getting a beer...ya know "while your up"...)  Giving the triplets a dollar and promising that I would take them to the dollar store to spend it.  He knew I hated shopping more than frogs!!!  Dad I would never change a thing that we shared. I miss making you breakfast....egg and cheese on english muffin TWO of them please!  I miss the way you would say my name.  I just miss you alot Dad.  I love you.

Hey Pop-pop,

I was sitting here thinking of you and I had a memory that I will never ever forget!  I remember when you were in the hospital the first time and we were all down to visit you to make sure you were okay, you were on a lot of meds to make you drowsy so we did not get to talk to you that much or even see you awake for that matter.  But when Dad, Amy, and I were in the room with you, we were talking to you, and of course crying and hoping that everything would be okay, and when I was talking to you and you woke up a little and winked at me, I knew you would be okay!!  That memory will be with me forever and ever!!  I love you so much and miss you tons!!

Love,

Dana

Hey Pop-Pop,

I never got to say thank you and how happy I was that you were able to make it to our wedding.  You have NO IDEA how much that meant to me.  The dollar dance was especially important...it was the only time I cried during my wedding because it meant a great deal to have you there to share my special occasion with me!  It definitely wouldn't have been the same without you!  I wish you would be able to share the birth of your great grandson in 2 months also but I have to tell you...he will always know who you are through stories and pictures...we will never let him go without knowing you!!  We all love you and miss you so much...please keep a watch over all of us!!

Much love,

Dana

I can say that one of my best memories are of Dad taking me to school in the dodge ram...(it was faded pink with shrubs and car parts hanging out the sides)(yes he was an autobody man...hahah).  I tried all the time to get him to drop me off at the corner of the school.  But Dad loved me sooooo much he took me RIGHT to the front doors!!!  While he was bringing the truck to a stop he always added the "air brakes" sound.  Then never pulled off quietly....he would make sure he "honked" and waved....and laughed his butt off while I was embarrassed...and now...I am never more thankful that my Dad took me to school EVERYDAY my freshman and sophmore years.  Thanks Dad!!

I love you and I miss you and Thank you for being YOU

Hey pop. You know what i'm going to miss the most and is one of my best memories? It's when we use to get together and when we needed a beer you would allways say hey while your up I'll have one too, even tho I was still sitting down.I'm going to miss that for the rest of my life. But I have that memory and nobody can take that from me,so when we meet again it's you turn to get up and get me one ok.
